About Wendy Jacobsen

Wendy Jacobsen lived most of her life in Illinois.  After graduating college she traveled extensively in Europe, Africa and the United States.  She has been to over 30 countries and to every state in the union but she never saw anything like Sedona, Arizona.

In 1979 Wendy saw Sedona for the first time and like many of her real estate clients got what we locally call “red rock fever”.  It took her until 1998 to make the move here but in all that time she eagerly anticipated actually living here.  Sedona has exceeded all her expectations.  She never knew how much she would love the southwest in general.

Wendy sold residential real estate in Barrington, Illinois since 1989 and in Sedona since 1998.  She is a founding member of Sedona Luxury Real Estate Professionals and a past president and multiple time board member.  She has won many Realtor awards but for her the best rewards have been working with her clients.  As you can see from her small selection of testimonials, the experience of working with her has been mutually beneficial.

Wendy believes that great service, her knowledge of the market and her ability to listen are what please her clients most.

Her integrity, honesty, communication and negotiation skills have served her listing clients well.  Her love of Sedona and ability to match the right home to the right client make the real estate experience a joy for her and her buying clients.

Sedona has not only given Wendy the opportunity to hike and horse back ride in some of the most beautiful country on this earth but it has given her the pleasure of helping others achieve similar dreams.

“Dear Wendy, We love our new home!  You were so on the money when you called us to look at the property and your fast action on the sale of our current home helped us to move forward on this one.  It was a totally pleasant experience dealing with you and we will be sure to recommend you to any people we know moving into the area.”  -Randi and David Hussey

“Dear Wendy, I wanted to thank you for all of your hard work as our realtor this year.  I know that our needs were sometimes difficult to meet and we appreciated your unending patience with us.  Your market knowledge was so valuable to us since we were unfamiliar with the area.  Brian and I appreciated your level of professionalism, ethics and honesty.  We felt that you worked very hard to have our interests represented.  It was a pleasure doing business with you.”   -Darlene and Brian Kober

“Dear Wendy, We have been in our new home for a few weeks and we just love it!  Your hard work in finding the house we were looking for is very much appreciated.  You listened to what we wanted and found it.  The process of selling a home and finding the right house can be stressful, but your persistence and energy got us through it. Your ability to effectively market and sell our old home in the short period of time that you did was amazing, and we were grateful for your help in producing such a large amount of interested buyers.  Thank you so much for a job well done.”    -Rich and Paige Dudley

“Dear Wendy, I am sending this note to express my thanks for a wonderful job in helping us with our real estate needs.  Monica and I found your advice to be timely and effective, your patience with us was heartening, and your knowledge of the area impressive.  Perhaps most importantly, it was a pleasure to work with you…”   -Ravi and Monica Sirvastava

“I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your company’s services as provided through Ms. Wendy Jacobsen.  Having both purchased and sold three properties in the last six years, my wife and I have been exposed to a variety of realtor organizations and their representatives, and we must say that our experience with Ms. Jacobsen exceeded all our expectations.  Not only was she professional, industrious and ethical throughout the process, but she ultimately negotiated our target price.  This not only provided us with a wonderful transaction experience, but I believe we’ve gained a new friend.”    -Harry and Kathy Kropp
“Dear Wendy, I consider myself somewhat of an expert in this business of buying and selling houses – four houses in five years.  The process, this time, was the easiest of the bunch.  The difference, of course, was you – Wendy Jacobsen.  The root of the word Realtor is real… Webster defines the word real as “…true, genuine, and sincere…” You are all of that and more.  As you know, I have worked with a number of different realtors in the last few years and in every deal there were some “bumps” along the way.  None had the ability to handle both sides of the sale as well as you did.”    -Sheila Griffie
