Hi, I’m Jan Bigelow. In 1995 I moved to AZ, after growing up in Ohio and enjoying 22 years in the Colorado Rockies. My career in telecommunications and retail sales has given me the knowledge and experience to launch what has become a very successful Real Estate business.
My first priority with clients is to listen and really get to know them…their needs…their expectations. There are different skills that come to bare for potential buyers or sellers. Each demands a thorough knowledge of the market, and to that end, I make every effort to stay one step ahead of everyone involved in a transaction to ensure that clients are educated, protected and informed. To me, the relationship is a partnership and it’s my job to make it as smooth and transparent as possible.
In addition to market knowledge, it takes integrity, resources and hard work to be a top producer. I am proud to say that over the years, I have consistently ranked among Sedona’s Top 20 Agents, as well as the top 10% of Russ Lyon Sotheby’s agents, nationally. In addition, a large part of my success over the years can be attributed to my membership in the Sedona Luxury Real Estate Professionals. This select group made up of Arizona’s top performing agents has been a driving force behind raising the standard of professionalism and service of real estate agents throughout the Verde Valley.
Life in Northern Arizona has so much to offer. The weather is fairly mild year-round which gives us the chance to take advantage of great hiking trails, swimming and pickle ball. Most mornings, you’ll find me out on the trail with my best friend Abby (a boxer-pit bull mix). I also have 4 rescued birds; an African Gray, a cockatiel and 2 English Budgies. You ought to see that African Gray dance. Cooking, reading and film are a few of my other passions.
There is one truth that I have found to be consistent throughout my life and my career….and that is “People don’t care how much YOU know, until they know how much YOU care”, which means – educating, informing, coordinating and creating an unforgettable, positive real estate experience.
