Ed graduated from a Military High School and then attended the University of Arizona, in Tucson, AZ where he received his BS degree. His first taste of the Real Estate business was after college with his partner Dave Fraker.  For a decade, Ed and business partner, Dave were quite successful developing and building “Finisterra”, a 356-acre luxury home community.  Ed has maintained friendships and still visits many clients he sold homes to who live in the community. When that building project was completed, and wanting to be closer to his mother who was in failing health, Ed moved back East where he purchased a Chevrolet dealership adding Mitsubishi to the mix.  After successfully turning the dealership around, Ed partnered with a Cadillac Oldsmobile dealer & put Chevrolet, Cadillac and Oldsmobile under one roof.  One of Ed’s fondest memories in the automobile business was earning business from his football heroes, the Pittsburgh Steelers as clients.  Ed eventually sold his dealership to his partner to become the CEO of a children’s home who cared for abused and neglected children. He had an opportunity to move back to Arizona and he got into the Real Estate business in Sedona with Roy Grimm’s “Buyer Brokers”, exclusively working with buyers at the time and within his first year in real estate in Sedona, became an elite member of the Top 20 Producers’ club!  Ed was regretfully turning away many clients working exclusively as a buyer’s agent.  Ed recognized the benefits of having a well-rounded career working for buyers and sellers and partnered with Russ Lyon | Sotheby’s International Realty brokerage in Sedona.
